Mobile Ministry
For many years Clifford & Eunice Beasley have strongly felt that one day they would return one day to a mobile ministry which they exercised for several years at the very beginning of their ministry when they operated a mobile unit all over the UK. It was an ex-army Landrover and a twenty foot Bluebird Challenger Caravan which they used to establish new churches. They are now about to launch a similar ministry whilst still being based at the Cithnet expression in Bromsgrove. They were recently given a delightful Landrover Discovery Tdi in superb condition, now they are looking to buy a suitable caravan. This mobile home will be used by them as they travel to visit, encourage, equip and minister to groups and individuals who are contacting Cithnet regarding the establishment or the further growth of churches which meet in houses.
Subjects to be taught among groups or at conferences will include topics which reflect the ministry of the early church and are basic to Cithnet ministry. ie:
- What should church really be like?
- What was the pattern of the services in the Early Church?
- Where did the Early Church hold its meetings?
- Who became the leaders and how experienced were they?
- The ministry of women in the Early Churches.
- The place of 'eating together'in the Early Church.
- Servant leadership.
- Non-religous christianity. Christ is the head of the church.
- The priesthood of all believers. (ie The Early Church did not have a distinction between clergy and members. They were all as important as each other simply differing in gift and function).
- Covenant relationships (Loyal friendships).
- Churches in homes are part of the restoration of the church in the last days.
- Simple gatherings which can easily be reproduced.
- Growth through natural evangelism and soul-winning.
- Pioneering New Churches.
- Kingdom Lifestyle.
